Ratings and reviews

The app at least lets me control my device, so that part works. The problem is that if your device is not listed and you have to use the generic device option, you are stuck with a very limited setup. You cannot rename buttons later, and there are no icons, which makes the remote look messy and less useful. For an app that is supposed to simplify smart home control, this feels like a basic feature that should already exist.

Connection was fairly easy for the light bulbs and the hub. I did have one of the bulb kicked off and now cannot reconnect it. I haven't put much time into it but simply clicking the light on and off did not reset it. I don't see a reset button. I got a scene switch as well and it was quite a challenge to set up. Apparently, I just had to focus. It's been working since. FastCon broadlink devices do not work with this app in my experience.

Since the latest 28 February update the app doesn't even start. Before that it was way worse than Broadlink. Samsung S25Ultra, latest public Android.
