About this app

First introduced in Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), Google included a hidden menu in stock Android with experimental options called System UI Tuner.

The option to launch System UI Tuner in Android version 9 and newer has been removed by Google, but the utility still exists in the system. This application will launch it if present.

This will work on all stock AOSP and Pixel builds of Android 9+. Third-party device manufacturers may choose to disable this menu completely in their Android builds. This does NOT work on Samsung devices! Samsung has removed the utility from their system software.

I wanted to remove the alarm clock icon in my status bar and after several hours of trying this and trying that with other System UI apps that required running cmd something or other that was way over my head and didn't work anyway, I almost stumbled across this app. It worked immediately after I restarted my phone. Hoping that it doesn't stop working one day, but noticed the useless alarm icon appeared when my phone ran an update.

Looks great I have a pixel and I find the clock thing annoying. However there are no instructions on how to use it. Couldn't figure it out so kinda posting here for a developer response. Edit: you have to go into your settings, turn on developer mode, go to UI demo, turn that on, then go to the app and disable/enable the stuff u wanna see. Worked great, some additional options would be appreciated, like getting rid of app logos on the top left but it works great!

Thank you for the input. This app only launches Google's built in utility. I cannot add or remove options, as these are part of the Android OS. If you would like to make an Android feature request, it can be done at: https://source.android.com/setup/contribute/report-bugs

edit: since updating to android 16 the weather banner from my weather app won't display. There is no option to toggle on weather in the app. is there a way to fix this? Thank you for this app Dev! Once you get used to the seconds refecting in the clock, you can't ever go back!!
