App is OK, however, the 'widget' is appalling! It's so fragile and It constantly crashes, and then you get a white screen asking you to 'tap' to select a category, just takes you to the main app page. I have reinstalled, 'forced stop', and cleared cache' nothing resolves. You need to get a 10 year old on the case to fix!

Thumbnail photos are actually wallet sized photos and too big for the real estate available. No room for headlines. Most headlines are cut off and all that is visible is the top half of the first line. Impossible to know what it says most of the time. Otherwise content looked to be on par but I don't want to click every story just to see if it has interest for me or not. Uninstalled...and looking for another app.

I enjoy the app but 2 things really bother me. My phone screen is so sensitive (Samsung A42) that videos seems to play automatically. The annoying thing is once the video starts there's no option to get out of it or go back until the video ends. Really annoying when it's something you didn't intend on watching! Secondly, as someone else mentioned below, some of the articles are really out of date and it sometimes feels like you're looking at the same headlines for weeks (not on the main page).

What's new

We have implemented Picture in Picture mode for all video content in the Sky News app. You will now have the option to minimise videos and Live TV to the corner of your screen by clicking the Picture in Picture icon. You can continue to navigate the news in our app whilst watching Live TV or videos, alternatively, you can continue watching video content whilst using other apps on your mobile device. We have also made a number of bug fixes and stability improvements.
