The latest version is not elderly friendly at all. When the font size is set at the 2 bigger sizes, lines of words get blocked by the advertisements. Makes for a bad reading experience as the reader doesn't know what words are missing. If I want to read the blocked lines, I must change the font size to a smaller one, which strains my eyes.

In my experience, there is one pop-up ad when you first open the app, and within the articles themselves, there are ads scattered between paragraph making the reading experience slightly disruptive. The issue to me however, is how I'm paying for a newspaper service that crashes when I want to read the paper. After scrolling for some time, it crashes and I have to scroll to that article again. TL;DR: 1. Lots of ads but tolerable 2. App crashes often and is inconvenient

Using SPH issued tablet (samsung galaxy tab A, SM-T510) with latest app update, using reading downloaded "Print" version with internet connected. 1) keeps showing Error msg: "Something went wrong during the download. Please try again later". Actually the "print version" of paper is downloaded successfully. 2) app keeps crashing. Either Screen freeze, or blank page, or not loading content Please address these issues. Thank you.
