Buvigo makes sharing and finding locations easy without lengthy address descriptions. Select a point on the map, give it a name; your permanent 10-character Buvigo ID is ready in seconds.
How does Buvigo ID work?
Each Buvigo ID is exactly 10 characters: a 6-character letter field + 4 digits. When you create a point, the code is automatically generated by the system.
Examples: ABCDEF1234, LOVE__7777, IGGJXV5680
The letter field contains a maximum of 6 letters (A–Z). Shorter words are filled with an underscore (_). Codes are case-insensitive.
Creating a point
On the Create tab, select a location from the map, use your existing location, or search for an address. Add a description (Home, Office, etc.) and optional location notes (floor, door code, directions). Choose Public or Private, then create. You can copy, share, or show the QR code of the ID.
Buvigo ID Search
In the Search tab, type Buvigo ID or scan the QR code. Once the code is complete, press Search; the location will open on the map, and description, address, and navigation options will appear. Shared links open the location directly in the app.

Recipients will see the location on the map within Buvigo. If the app is not installed, they will be directed to download it.
Public and Private IDs
Public: Anyone who knows the ID can search and open the location.
Private: Access is restricted. Location is shown with a 4-digit PIN or owner verification. Manage your private IDs from the My IDs tab. Live Location Sharing
To share your real-time location, start a temporary session from the Live tab (15, 30, 60, or 120 minutes). A short code and QR code will be generated; real-time location tracking is available until the session ends.
My IDs
All your permanent Buvigo IDs are listed in one place. Copy, share, edit, set a primary address, or delete them. Each account can create a maximum of 25 permanent IDs.
Buvigo is free on iOS and Android. You are responsible for the IDs you create and share, and for how others use this information.
