Know what each serving costs before you set the menu price. Recipe Cost connects ingredient prices, recipes, preparation and shopping for cafes, bakeries and small kitchens.
The one-time paid app includes local costing, recipes, production, sales records and exports. These tools need no account or subscription. Optional cloud sync requires an account and a separate monthly or yearly subscription. Check Google Play for the price in your region.
SEE THE COST BEHIND EACH SERVING
Enter pack quantities, purchase prices and preparation yield. Include labor, overhead and packaging in the batch and per-serving cost. Compare your selling price with a price calculated from your target margin and entered tax rate. Try an ingredient-price change while holding your selling price fixed. Results depend on the costs you enter; they are not your business's net profit.
REUSE INGREDIENTS AND RECIPES
Update a shared ingredient once to recalculate linked recipes. Save doughs, sauces and other preparations as subrecipes. Choose base ingredients for baker's percentages, scale a trial batch and send the servings to your production plan. Save cooking-step checklists and reset them for the next batch.
TURN PREP INTO A SHOPPING LIST
Combine ingredient needs across recipes, deduct raw stock on hand and calculate whole packs to buy. Review the purchase budget and share a CSV shopping list. Record deliveries and completed production to update stock. Keep several batches in progress with their starting cost basis saved. The app does not place supplier orders.
BRING YOUR TABLES, KEEP YOUR RECORDS
Import ingredient, supplier-price and sales tables from CSV or XLSX; recipe tables use CSV. Map columns and review changes before applying. Convert XLSX formulas to values first. Read invoice quantities, units and prices on your device, then correct and confirm them. You can also review a supplier's public HTTPS CSV.
Save cost versions and sales with the selected cost basis and currency fixed. Review revenue excluding tax, recorded recipe costs and menu contribution by period. Export CSV tables and PDF recipe cost sheets. Save and restore a complete library backup, verify history archives and undo the last change. Excel workbook export is not included.
START WITH ONE RECIPE
Enter a pack price, add the amount used and set the number of servings. Review the serving cost and selling price. An optional, clearly marked practice recipe is available after purchase.
OPTIONAL CLOUD SYNC
Local records stay on your device and can be moved using an exported backup. The separate cloud plan copies current saved work and linked files across your devices. Unsaved edits and separate project-library copies are excluded. Uploads run while the app is open; when copies differ, you choose which to use. Each account has 1 GB per app for up to 20 cloud versions. Existing cloud copies can still be downloaded or deleted after the plan expires. Simultaneous team editing is not supported.
ABOUT THE EXAMPLE
The fictional cookie batch makes 12 servings for JPY 1,854: JPY 154.50 each, with a JPY 480 selling price and 0% tax. These are illustrative inputs, not actual sales or net profit. Screenshots retain Japanese sample names. The video uses real static app screens and illustrative data, not a continuous tap recording. Its separately designed sample cost sheet differs from the app's native PDF layout.
