Simple, yet pretty reliable app. Seems that most of the problems with the widget, that people reported, related to permissions to "use GPS all the time". If it is off, the widget will not be able to access GPS chip, since the app is in background.

​CamSam Plus has been an absolute lifesaver for keeping me mindful of my speed and aware of upcoming cameras. ​The only minor issue is how it handles audio alerts. Right now, when a camera alert comes up, it simply mutes my music. Because the song keeps playing in the background silently, I end up missing chunks of my favorite tracks or podcasts. It would be a massive improvement if the app actually paused the media playback during an alert, and then resumed right where it left off.

Very good so far, I like the voice warnings, and the countdown to the camera itself. Especially useful on the M3 in the UK, a speed camera every 500 metres! Main issue is the timing of the warnings. Every single time it says "Speed Camera 100m", I am driving through the camera. I am using a Xiaomi Ultra 15, so not sure if it's a device issue, or an app issue
