Deceptive practices + app fails to save audio settings App says that my unit (Spirit) is not up to date whenever I connect, and insists it cannot update the unit without creating an account. As soon as I created an account it shows the unit is up to date. Literally a second after. Wild. The only reason I cared to try updating was that it changes the volume wildly up and down, regardless of audio setting I've tried. I've followed all guides and support threads and it just won't stop. Returning.

Cardo radios are easily the worst part of my riding prep. Every setup turns into a frustrating time sink that should be simple but never is. A string and paper cups would be more consistent than this system. For the price, the reliability and ease of use just aren’t there. Total waste of money. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone who values their time or sanity.

this app, and the packtalk edge, are not good products. Simply too expensive for what they offer, and not easy to use. It takes my group 5-10 minutes to try and add a new rider to the group. half the time we give up because it took too long. it's not intuitive at all. adding a new rider should be easy. There is also no auto shutdown feature. If you forgot to turn off your cardo after your ride, the cardo will stay on until it runs out battery. even if the cardo isn't connected to anything
