Seriously? Full screen ads? You're joking. You guys are a multi-billion dollar company who already make loads of enough money out of subscriptions. Heck, even if you just want to do chest puzzles, it costs a subscription. I get running ads on the desktop version. That's totally understandable and it doesn't interfere with gameplay or anything like that. This company is slowly getting greedy though, and it definitely shows. I'll switch and stick to LiChess which offers everything this does free.

I love this app, never had a problem not paying for premium features because well I just play to play (to each their own) but after the recent add changes holy cow! It has become like any other app you download now a days, adds after every game. Pretty soon they'll add energy limits and boosters like the other apps you see advertised on the play store. I've had this app for +10 years and now suddenly adds need to be included, or force to pay a subscription service. Seems very uncessary.

The app itself runs well, and matches frequently with other players. However it has an infuriating tendency to mismatch players based on skill level. the algorithm will consistently cause players to win for 5+, followed by a losing streak for 9+ games over and over. And I've personally noticed that if you stop playing for a few days, you suddenly find yourself on a win streak next time you play. This gets insanely frustrating to the point where it's just not worth the effort.
