Scuba Log is a dive log and logbook app for certified recreational divers — the fast, offline way to record depth, gas mix, buddy and conditions the moment you're back on the boat, then watch your dive count, sites and certification path grow over time. It's a logbook, not a dive computer or a dive planner, and it never tries to be one.
Log a dive in under a minute, before the numbers fade: max depth, bottom time, gas mix, water temp, visibility, weight, buddy's name, cert level, notes and a photo. Dive a site more than once and Scuba Log starts remembering it for you — average visibility, depth and your usual gas mix there, built from your own logged history.
DIVE LOG, BUILT FOR THE DOMAIN
• Fast capture: depth, bottom time, gas mix (air, Nitrox 32, Nitrox 36, trimix or other), water temp, visibility, weight and notes
• Attach a photo and add a typed buddy or instructor sign-off — a lightweight substitute for a paper logbook signature
DIVE SITES THAT REMEMBER
• Save every site with its location and your own notes on entry points, hazards or conditions
• Return to a site and see a condition-memory card: average visibility, average depth and the gas mix you usually reach for there, built from your own logged dives
CERTIFICATIONS AND PROGRESS
• Track certifications by agency, level and date — Open Water through Instructor
• A cert-progress bar shows where you sit toward the next informal milestone, based on your dive count — informational only, never an official agency requirement or eligibility guarantee
• Stats screen totals your dives, max depth, average bottom time and average depth at a glance
A RETROSPECTIVE READ OF YOUR OWN LOGBOOK
• Generate an AI summary of your dive history on demand — a trend read of depth and bottom time, a note on your nitrox use, and where your cert count sits toward the next milestone
• Tag any dive's notes with an AI-written summary and topic tags, on demand, per dive
• Both features read ONLY dives you've already logged and are strictly retrospective — no no-decompression limits, safety stops, ascent rates, gas plans or medical/go-no-go advice. Every AI response carries the same safety disclaimer shown throughout the app.
BUILT FOR THE BOAT
• Works fully offline — your logbook lives on your device; with no signal, even on first launch, you can set up, log dives and browse dives, sites, stats and certs
• No account needed — start logging right after install
• Only AI summaries, subscribing and sign-in need a connection
• Light and dark themes with a System option, and a language picker covering 10 languages
WHAT'S FREE
Logging is unlimited: every dive, site and certification, every stat, the cert-progress bar and site condition memory, no caps. Plus 2 free AI dive summaries and 1 free AI note-tagging, with a visible count before you use them.
WHAT PRO ADDS
Pro adds unlimited AI dive summaries and note tagging once your free uses are spent, lets you export your whole logbook to share or hand to an instructor, and removes ads.
Scuba Log Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription. The plans available to you and their prices are shown in the app before you subscribe. Payment is charged to your Google Play account; a subscription renews automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date, and you can manage or cancel it any time in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions.
Scuba Log is a personal dive journal, not a dive computer and not a dive-planning tool. It does not calculate no-decompression limits, safety stops or ascent rates, and makes no medical or fitness-to-dive claim. Always rely on your training, your certifying agency's guidelines and your own dive computer for planning and safety decisions.
