About Mudras:

Mudras are symbolic gestures traditionally believed to promote inner balance and the flow of energy in yogic practices. Rooted in ancient traditions like Ayurveda, these practices are used to support focus, relaxation, and mindfulness.

The word Mudra is derived from Sanskrit, where mud means “joy” and ra means “to produce.” Together, mudra signifies “that which produces joy and inner calmness.”

Mudras, which originated in Hindu and Buddhist traditions, are also widely used in Indian classical arts such as Bharatanatyam, Mohiniattam, and Varma Kalai. According to yogic and Ayurvedic philosophies, they are believed to promote the flow of subtle energy within the body and support an inward journey of self-awareness.

Mudras are also traditionally understood to form a closed energy circuit within the body. According to ancient yogic texts, the physical body is composed of five elements, each associated with a finger:

• Thumb – Fire
• Index finger – Air
• Middle finger – Ether (Space)
• Ring finger – Earth
• Little finger – Water

Bringing specific fingers together in these gestures is believed to help balance the elements in the body.

Practicing mudras for 5 to 45 minutes daily, using appropriate pressure and touch, may support calmness and mindfulness. However, the perceived benefits of mudras can vary and may also depend on factors such as diet, sleep, and overall lifestyle habits.

Speciality of Mudras:
• Mudras are widely used in yoga, meditation, and classical dance.
• Traditionally, they are believed to help enhance concentration, awareness, and energy balance.
• It does not need any money or special ability to be performed but it only requires patience and consistency.
• When combined with mindful breathing, mudras may support mental clarity, relaxation, and emotional balance.
• Daily practice of Mudras and Meditation may support a more mindful and balanced lifestyle.

I love being able to track time spent with each mudra, I think it's frustrating that I can't create a sequence... and the "how do you feel now" after every single exercise is in my opinion ridiculous. Been alot more adds recently...which is annoying, more so because they are often products that aren't in alignment. It's a good start and I think you can fine tune it a bit.

Loved it! Very easy to navigate Clearly explained It offers all simultaneously: The chance to select a Mudra, decide for how long you want to practice it, to set- up the alarm ( daily, weekly, etc.), to set up a meditation schedule for the week and to select the music you prefer for your meditation (including silence, a gong, waves or relaxing music). 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🙇🏽‍♀️🧘🏽‍♀️🙌🏽

Probably my most used app during times of growth and unbelievably effective with stress. Self-improvement should be a lifetime journey and this was one key component in mine. Couldn't rate this high enough nor encourage turning on notifications and reading articles enough. While not always error-free (I volunteer myself to be an editor) almost every single article I've read has contributed something profound to my life. BTW they're just bonus to the app itself. Download be amazed and enhanced
