The Colgate Magik app will unlock your Colgate Magik toothbrush kit. The app uses Augmented Reality to give your children a fun brand new brushing experience, turning the Colgate Magik manual 5+ toothbrush into a connected smart toothbrush.
Take the guesswork out of brush time as the Colgate Magik toothbrushing app can detect where they brush. Using advanced visual tracking, it is the first manual toothbrush that can visibly track your kids brushing technique. As your child brushes they will be able to travel through augmented reality games, fight cavity monsters and claim 3D Magik Brushing Masks as they continue on their adventure; all while learning proper brushing techniques!

The fun doesn't stop when the brushing is up, we have added a cool new mask try-on feature to the shop. Each time your child brushes they get a chance to pick a prize, which changes every time they brush.
Sharing your photos will be so much easier as you can download the brushing pictures straight to your camera roll.

Ratings and reviews

The app is a great idea. Issue I have is that it resets my daughters profile when close out every single time. The color resets and the time resets to default. It's annoying to have to go in and change it everyday. Also it doesn't pick up on some movements. The brush will be fully inside the frame and my daughter will hold the brush as instructed and it does not clear away the "monsters" which makes her think she's not doing it right but she is. *I logged out and back in and it reset the game!

Works less ok since the last update. The parent no longer has access to the child's progress and history with the app. There's no 3 sec countdown on photos anymore. But, the profile color issue is fixed, though, so it's better (?) I also liked the Einsteiny narrator better than the generic, faceless voice it has now.

My kids love it most of the time, but it gets buggy, freezes, or just won't work sometimes. Redownloading the app usually works, but then you have to deal with the login process. I wish they'd just let me make a password instead of the email login. It's annoying on my own phone and a huge hassle to get logged in on my husband's as well since we share the one account.
