About this app

Controly turns your phone into a universal remote for the screens and devices already on your home network — no cloud account, no subscription, no data leaving your house.

WHAT YOU CAN CONTROL

• Android TV & Google TV — full remote control including D-pad, volume, power, app launching, and installed app list
• Fire TV — same Android TV control surface, works over your local network
• Sony Bravia TVs — PIN-verified pairing, D-pad/volume/power, plus direct input switching (jump straight to HDMI 1, 2, 3...)
• Samsung Smart TVs — D-pad, volume, power, channels, and Smart Hub
• Windows PCs — pair with the free Controly Companion app to get a touchpad, keyboard input, quick-action buttons, and custom app/URL launcher shortcuts, all from your phone

IP CAMERAS

View live feeds from your existing IP cameras right in the app. Add cameras manually by IP and lay them out in a multi-camera grid (1, 2, 4, or 6 at a time) to keep an eye on more than one place at once.

HOW IT WORKS

Every device is controlled directly over your local Wi-Fi — Controly talks straight to your TV, PC, or camera, the same way a traditional remote or the manufacturer's own app would, just without needing five different apps for five different brands. Pairing is a one-time step per device (on-screen approval, a PIN, or manual IP entry depending on what the device supports), after which reconnecting is automatic.

WHY CONTROLY

• One app instead of a drawer full of brand-specific remote apps
• No cloud dependency — nothing about your devices or network is sent anywhere
• Free and open source
• Actively developed, with more device types on the way

Controly is still early in its life — you may run into rough edges as new device types and features are added. Feedback and bug reports are very welcome.

What’s new

Fixed a Fire TV pairing bug where the TV would repeatedly ask to re-pair while the app kept trying to use the original, now-dead connection.

Fixed the remote screen going unresponsive for any paired device after the phone's screen locked and was unlocked again — it now reconnects automatically.
