server down. again. i have 5 switches, one of them is my water heater. so, i had to take cold showers in Christmas time, an now again. it seems that we cannot depend on the server working, so you must let the app flip the switches from the home network via the router, when the smartphone is connected to the same router. must be a very easy fix and will let everyone use their switches at least when they are at home, even if the server is down.
Loved the app & my Sonoff switched right up until the point I added in an RF bridge with PIR & door switch. Ever since I am tormented with notifications. Every few minutes I get 3/4 notifications of last trigger which could be days previous. I removed the RF bridge from app & still happens. I disabled notification permissions for the app & it still vibrates every few minutes without notifications coming up. Sort it out! Ridiculous!
What is up with all these bad reviews??! App works like a charm! Switches work perfectly! TIP: Set switches to power mode KEEP, so you can also use your wall switch to turn on/off light.
Stupid app, why my wifi is dual frequency, yet because there is a 5ghz signal detected it automatically kills the pairing process. Even though the device I am using is unable to use a 5ghz frequency.... Absolutely pointless
Server just been upgraded a few days ago but crashed yesterday and all devices and the app are offline! All during the Chinese New year when noone works in China......would be better if they can send out an email to all users when the system is down so at least people can know what's wrong and an expected up time. Is it time to think about a RaspberryPI server and MQTT........home server and independent of eWeLink......?
Recently it stopped working. I have 8 devices that connected fine and it suddenly tells me it doesnt support 5ghz. I am using the same phone on the same wifi i used on the other items. My new items are now useless if the apo won't connect them.
