Ratings and reviews

The experience is a lot better now with the Jr5. I agree the app is not very intuitive but it's small enough to still find what you need eventually. it's also set it and forget it so i don't have to login often. I missed that focus mode was 'off' despite looking at it 3 times. I only figured it out when my 5 year old insisted it wasn't on at school. The gps is slow to load. Overall, I'm happy with the app and watches. it's a good balance of the kids liking them but not playing too much.

My kids (7 and 9) love their watches for spotify and the ability to text and call their curated list of contacts. I love the safe zone features and the ability to check in from afar. The app, in general, is easy to navigate, though the watch app control is outside of the mission control app. The refresh on the gps can be somewhat spotty, but for our purposes, it works well enough. Group texting with both kids does return a failure message, which we work around.

not super intuitive but slowly improving. I've had their watches for 2 years and the app is terrible for set up and contact management but that might be a security thing. the GPS works but can take forever when the watches are moving fast (like in a car fast, not bicycle fast). setting up alarms, down time, and managing apps is pretty easy though. a mixed bag that would be a lot better if contacts could be imported or saved.
