EVA tracks your face movements using the front camera and artificial vision techniques. A mouse pointer allows you to control all the actions of your device.

HOW IT WORKS?

1. The frontal camera of your smartphone or tablet detects your face and tracks it accurately. The motion of your head is used to move a pointer on the screen.

2. Once the pointer is stopped, it starts a countdown and the click is performed when the dwell time is over.

3. An on-screen menu allows you to choose the desired gesture or another action to perform. You can go back or home, open notifications, show running apps, zoom in and out, scroll contents and perform swipe or pinch gestures, for instance.

FOR WHOM IS INTENDED?

EVA is intended for those people who cannot use a touchscreen. For instance, some people with amputations, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury, muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) or other disabilities may benefit from this app.

This app uses the AccessibilityService API in accordance with the Accessibility API Policy. This API is essential to provide the accessibility features of this app, namely, performing the gestures required by the user.

This app has been life changing. I'm a quadriplegic and have used a head tracking mouse to control my computer for over 20 years. Now, for the first time I am able to operate my smartphone with same ease and efficiency as my computer. Thank you for developing and maintaining this amazing product!

Worked great until they wanted you to pay for using it. I understand that it needs money to carry on it's development but it tells you every 12 minutes. I am paralysed from the neck down and use the app all the time, it feels like they are blackmailing you to pay. I would pay something towards it if I could otherwise it's a useful app.

Really useful app and very good at detecting faces from long distance and in the dark! But there is a problem: I can't change the cursor look, even with a .cur file. Also, there could be triple tap action and (maybe) quadriple tap action, and it would be nice to be able to change the time it takes to click after you stop your cursor. It lags my phone a bit (rarely) but that's no biggie. p.s you could also add a feature where you press the volume button(s) to click.
