Cryptid Apps

About this app

Turn your phone into a powerful command centre for your entertainment and desktop. Cryptid Remote brings everyday controls, a precision touchpad, keyboard, gamepad and smart streaming discovery together in one polished app.
📺 CONTROL THE BIG SCREEN
Pair with compatible Fire TV, Google TV, Android TV and Roku devices on your local network. Navigate with a responsive D-pad plus home, back, menu, power, volume, mute, play/pause and skip controls.
✨ MADE FOR FASTER CONTROL
Switch between remote, touchpad and gamepad modes in seconds. Type with your phone instead of an awkward on-screen keyboard, use voice search on supported devices, and arrange favourite app shortcuts for the services you use most.
🎮 YOUR PHONE BECOMES A GAMEPAD
Choose Simple, Pro or Arcade layouts, with analog controls, a D-pad, face buttons, triggers, shoulder buttons and custom button mapping. Use the on-screen controls or connect a Bluetooth gamepad for compatible TVs and computers.
🖥️ TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR DESKTOP
Pair with Cryptid Remote Desktop to turn your phone into a wireless trackpad and keyboard. Scroll, zoom, click, search, type live or write then send, use handy shortcuts and function keys, launch desktop apps and access useful computer controls without returning to your desk.
🍿 FIND YOUR NEXT FAVOURITE
Browse films and TV shows across streaming providers and countries and open them straight in your favourite apps. Search titles and people, explore ratings, summaries, cast and crew, seasons, episodes and similar picks, then see where a title is available to watch.
Use advanced filters to narrow the choice, keep personal watchlists and favourites and share recommendations.
🔎 ONE APP, LESS SEARCHING
Whether you are settling in for a movie, typing a long search, navigating your computer from the sofa or starting a game, Cryptid Remote keeps the controls you need close at hand.
Compatibility and available commands can vary by device, model, region and installed services. Your phone and target device may need to be on the same local network. Desktop controls require Cryptid Remote Desktop on the target computer. Cryptid Remote Desktop can be downloaded from this link -
