The old Tornado App was better. I can't find the settings to make sure that the tornado warnings are not on silent. The sirens that the old app played were the whole reason I had the app. Because I had it set to my location wherever I am, it actually sounded while I was in Nashville at the mall. If we didn't know, we would have been driving in the area of a tornado. Instead we were able to shelter in Bass Pro Shop until it passed.

Always accurate... and I believe it's the BEST informative App for all types of emergencies and warnings!! You can set a desired radius in which you'd like to be warned or just to monitor. I love the siren that goes off on my phone to alert me of a warning (e.g. tornado, etc.) or another emergency warning when turned on. There's also very helpful information that explains and teaches you how to prepare for various situations (relating to nature etc) and emergencies (i.e. emergency preparedness).

What happened to it? This used to be a great app, where I could see warnings relative to the radius around my area. Now it shows my metro area as the warned area, when the storms aren't heading this way. I've used this for several years, but will be uninstalling now. Another case of making changes for the sake of change, without any real thought as to what the end user wants/needs. Huge fail.
