I recently received a notification via the CarInfo app stating that a challan was issued against my vehicle for a helmet violation. However, upon checking the official Parivahan (e-Challan) portal using both the Challan ID and my vehicle number, the system shows 'No Records Found.' ​I am concerned about the accuracy of the data being pushed through the app. Could the support team please verify why this notification was sent when it does not appear on the official government database?Please clear

Be careful while making challan payments through this app. I checked a challan where the actual fine was only ₹250, but the app was asking for an additional ₹1130 during payment, which is completely misleading. Always verify the challan amount on the official MVD (Motor Vehicles Department) website before paying through this app. Otherwise, you may end up paying much more than the real fine. Transparency is very important for such services.

Incorrect data showing. It worked for me till now, but when I checked for Maharashtra state activa, it showed incorrect data. expired puc and insurance while it was up to date from 6 months back. I mean literally I just ended up saying sorry to another person because of this incorrect app data. Guys pls use government apps only , like mparivahan.
