Your app is okay, but it's MISSING a needed function. If you look inside a folder (ALL folders) & that folder has a file/folder that starts with a (DOT), your app can't see it. Even if you KNOW that there's such a file/folder in there & you KNOW EXACTLY what it's name is, searching for it with your app shows ZERO results. I know this because I also use "ES file explorer (" & it can see EVERYTHING just fine (but not in "Android" folder). My device isn't not rooted either.

I've been using this file explorer for a couple of years now and consider it one of the best file explorers. It allows access to files on cloud servers and local remote servers, and the interface is well organized and makes navigation easy. If this app had a dark mode, it would be perfect.

So far the only file explorer I've used where I haven't found faults or missing features. And I tried at least seven. Update: The only file explorer I've used on all my devices two years running. I even voluntarily gave them money because it's so worth it. The connection to my local network works flawlessly, even on Firestick.
