The ONECTA application can, from any place at any time, control and monitor the status of your heating system and allows you to (*):

Monitor:
- The status of your system:
> Room temperature
> Requested room temperature
> Operation mode
> Fan speed
> Requested domestic hot water tank temperature
- Energy consumption graphs (day, week, month)

Control:
- Operation mode
- Change the requested room temperature
- Change the requested domestic hot water temperature
- Powerful mode (fast heating domestic hot water)

Schedule:
- Schedule the room temperature and operation modes
- Schedule the heating of the domestic hot water tank
- AC Demand control to reduce power consumption during certain moments of the day.
- Enable holiday mode

Voice control:
- Voice control through Amazon Alexa & Google Assistant
- To use these features, you need a smart speaker compatible with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.
- You can also use the Amazon voice or Google Assistant apps and use these features on your mobile.
- Supported commands: On/Off, Set/Get room temperature, Increase/Decrease temperature, Set operation mode, …
- Supported languages: English, German, French, Spanish & Italian.

Ratings and reviews

Missing essentials. Possible to create schedules (but could be easier). Impossible to set timers. Also, not possible to set the blades easily. What is especially hard for the blade in horizontal level. As that one is hard to see. Could be fixed with presets, as competitor mitsubishi does. And also welcome function, to turn the LED off. Those are bright at night!

Very disappointed with this app compared to the Hive system we were using with our old gas boiler. Onecta has no way to see whether it is your hot water or heating that is currently on (regardless of the schedule, they both just say "heating" all the time), no way to trigger a quick hot water boost using the heat pump, no way to view weather curves or radiator temperature like you can on the physical display, constant glitches, inaccurate energy usage reports. It's really poor.

A bit frustrating. Can't make the edits to schedules that I'd like. It seems that the app is masking rather than revealing the system's behaviours and limitations. Also the inconsistent use of metaphor, hyperlinks, buttons and colours, along with ambiguous wording doesn't help. Definitely the weakest link in my £10k heat pump installation.
