App worked fine until the new user agreement was required to be updated. The app will not stay open long enough to do anything with it. Once the app connects it crashes. Restarted device to no avail. The app is installed on an Android device. I would have given it a 5-star until this happened
Doesnt work. Got it to connect and start the roomba once. Never worked again. Customer support chat wastes an hour doing the same things I already tried twice then dumps me and asked me to email back if it works. Troublshooting site worthless. Error messages generic and useless. Just terrible. Wasted half a day.
This app is broken half the time. The Roomba not smart enough to connect to a 5.0 GHz wifi either. Basically the only thing this app can do scheduling. I have had the unit for months but according to the app it has never cleaned anything.
So far so good with the latest app update. Would eventually like to have the option of saving the map roomba makes. Maybe a 'save to device' wifi capability. That way the minor searching can be decreased and the efficiency can potentially be increased. A simple "pdf" map that roomba and the user can both read (the user would see a black line of vacuum path). With of course the option for the user to permanently delete the copy of the map. *no cloud use for map storage*
Was able to setup WiFi connection and use the first time around, but won't connect again to manage schedule/start/stop. All of my other WiFi devices connect just fine as well as other apps on my phone.
Not a fan of this new user agreement where there is no way to opt out of my personal data being sent over.
