App doesn't work. Cloud services not available error even though it's on the same WiFi network and robot is showing on my network when I log into my router. No issues connecting any other device to my network. Rebooted robot many times. Unistalled app and installed many times. Expected better considering the price of the vacuum (roomba 980).
Has been running perfectly so far, (2 months) no bugs or any issues. 10 out of 10 for cleaning and App. Love the fact that I can fully control it on my phone from any where and that it sends me notifications when bin full or job finished. Really brilliant! Have noted some had issues with App maybe their Wi-Fi signal is weak.
The app cannot connect my Nexus 5x (Android 8) to my new Braava Jet. I tried all troubleshooting steps from the 3 sections shown by the app, but to no avail. It seemed to work on Nexus 4 with Android 5.
Really bad software! I've had a Braava Jet since January and love it but since the latest app update haven't been able to connect it! Good thing it's a simple robot and I can mostly use it without the app. Can't imagine how mad I'd be if I had a Roomba which you can't really use without the app.
The connected home section of the app displays page not found. Even though I am on the same WiFi network with data disabled, the app is telling me I am controlling the Roomba over the internet. OAuth for Google Assistant was not functioning using WiFi connected Roomba version 690. The map feature or the area cleaned details do not seem to function.
Good idea, but very buggy. I only get the map at the end of a cleaning about 30 to 40% of the time. If a wheel gets stuck out the bin if full, the cleaning cycle resets each time. This is regardless of the setting being turned on to finish the job when the bin gets full.
