About this app

This app invites you to join with Christians around the world in praying with the Church, at any time or in any place you may find yourself. It makes it easy to pray daily morning, midday, evening, and compline (bedtime) prayer without flipping pages, searching for scripture readings or calendars, or interpreting rubrics. The prayers are presented from The Book of Common Prayer (2019) of the Anglican Church in North America and reflect the ancient patterns of daily prayer Christians have used since the earliest days of the church.

I've been using this app every day for maybe a couple of months now. I love not having to flip around finding the correct readings. Everything is right in front of me - or so I thought. A couple of days ago I noticed the readings for morning and evening were the same. This morning I see the readings don't follow the lectionary. What's going on? I guess nothing beats paper books.

Good app overall. It would get 5 stars from me if they didn't use AI for one of the voices because I find it distracting. For those having trouble with the audio stopping after about 3 minutes and unable to resume, change the battery settings for the app to unrestricted and it will play the entire audio even once the screen goes off.

definitely the best app I've found for the BOCP. Very good UI, integrates the readings and psalms into the order of service. I wasn't sure which edition I was looking for, but it's similar to the more traditional (1662?) version I'm used to, whereas the others I've found on the store were quite different.
