Very useful free companion app, I didn't realize you could use the app on your own local server. I would love to see auto-open to a selected server. And the ability to disable audio in the app so that it stops conflicting with other video and audio playing on the device. There is also an issue with connection timeouts to local servers after putting the app in the background in android WebView when using port 8090. Port 80 hasn't had issues. This also happens in Chrome.

The two issues I had were quickly solved in the same day. Thanks, Sean. I learned that one must configure the PTZ settings on each camera in order to zoom in on them during a live video feed. It makes sense when you think about it, but I was just trying to pinch zoom and finger pan on the live feed. If your camera doesn't support PTZ then you can still set it to DIGITAL and use the PTZ controls as if it did. It works ok, but a welcome improvement would be to support pinch zoom.

After wasting lots of time and energy on the offerings from camera suppliers I have found an app that actually works. Used in conjunction with a network analysis app I was able to find the IP addresses of my cameras and instal them,it all works. Both cameras were "unknown" but software found them and even pan and tilt work from a mobile phone. Incredible. One of my cameras is WiFi the other is ethernet not a problem. Thank You.
