Like It I like this app alot. Easy to use and navigate also very simple. I don't use Bloomberg anymore. Only fix I see is getting it to load quicker when you click on it. I guess good things are worth waiting for or so I here but maybe it will get looked into.
Needs improvement it shows more than just daily changes..which dont mean much to me. I like the option to choose longer time periods. That being said, plz add % changes for other time periods, ..only provided for one day. Need the YTD%! Need em for other periods. Also, I want it to open to markets , not news. And notifications vibrate..no way to turn that off on my htc phone. Other app notifications dont vibrate! 3rd party app so htc cant help. Get rid of vibration or hav on off option on the app!
Good app, but the notifications are annoying and the app provides no way (as far as I can tell) of setting notification preferences or frequency. So, I get notifications for what seems like all breaking news and earnings releases. Muted notifications for now in Android settings. Shouldn't have to do that though.
Alerts not wanted New update now has alerts coming whenever they want. Middle of sleep is painful. I am not even signed in. Cant turn off I guess I have to sign in.
Before this app, I would use my browser to go to the website, which I loved. I would use my zoom for all the features. The app pales in comparison with very limited features and useless except for news. Now, I can't go directly to the website because it defaults back to the mobile app. Website is a million times better than this. Update 8/18/2016- App developer contacted me to let me know that I should be able to access the Marketwatch website from my phone browser... tried it dozens of times, does not work. The app is useless if you like access to the features on the website. Good luck trying to get the graphs on tickers or comparing mutual funds. App is a piece of junk unless all you want are news articles. My biggest regret is since I downloaded this app, I can no longer have access to the Marketwatch website from my phone's browser which defaults to the mobile app. The reason I got a large screen phone was because I wanted access to all internet websites and not have to use the mobile version of websites for smartphones. App developer needs to add a link to app that will take you to the full website version.
Useful information, and app is very well made. I agree with others that disabling notifications should be possible, but I'll assume that's coming in the near future.
