About this app

The new Dexcom Follow App is part of the Dexcom SHARE® system.
Use this app if your loved one is sharing data from their Dexcom CGM app. The Sharer will need to send an invitation to allow you to connect after you have installed the Follow app.
Dexcom Follow works seamlessly with your loved one’s Dexcom CGM, giving you visibility into their glucose data, even when they’re far away. Dexcom Follow allows you to view and follow their glucose levels, trends and data right from the app. Whether your child is in school, your parent lives independently, or your partner is traveling, Dexcom Follow helps you stay connected and informed.
With Dexcom Follow, you can:
• Receive glucose information of up to 25 different Sharers – children, friends, or other loved ones – if you know multiple people with diabetes
• Respond quickly with the help of customizable glucose alerts and push notifications that can inform you when a Sharer’s glucose levels are outside of target range

Customer Feedback
If you’re experiencing any technical issues or need help with a Dexcom product, we recommend reaching out to our dedicated support team at 1-888-738-3646. This ensures your privacy is protected and allows us to assist you faster than through the app store.
Please note that Dexcom is required to follow up on product-related concerns. If your review includes a comment that needs further attention, a technical support representative may contact you to gather more details and help resolve the issue.

*Do not use Dexcom Follow for treatment decisions, such as insulin dosing. The Sharer should follow instructions on the CGM system.

badly written app. we had libre first. such a nice app. you could click anywhere on the graph and see real numbers and what time they were at that number. in the dexcom app there are no numbers. you look at the graph and guess what it might have been 2 hours ago... ummm somewhere between 60 and 200 is a guess just dumb. the only number you can see is what it is at that moment. insurance made us switch I can see why. this has to be way cheaper...

The new app looks different but hasn't really improved. I wish you could install it in my galaxy watch. so I can actually monitor without my phone. That would be actually useful. For the users that are saying that the persistent notifications were removed. In Android it has a widget which you can put in your desktop. that will you the consistent notifications. just press and hold the new app icon and then click widgets, you'll see it there. That's the only useful thing this version has.

The new app is terrible. I can't quickly see the number on my pull down menu or lock screen anymore. I also never get sound alerts now. I only get an icon at the top of the screen, which is not useful for nighttime. I am missing important low glucose alerts at night for my grandmother which could potentially be very dangerous if she doesn't/can't wake-up to her own alarms.
