About this app

Your organization launches a charity walking challenge, and your steps power it: every step you take scores a point for you, for your team and for the challenge's collective goal, in support of a charity.

You walk, the counter climbs, the charity moves forward.

BY INVITATION ONLY
Dift Move is not a standalone app. To join a walking challenge you need a 6-digit code from the organizer. Without that code, you cannot take part.

HOW IT WORKS
• Join the challenge with the 6-digit code you received by e-mail.
• Your phone counts your steps, even when the app is closed: no separate pedometer needed, nothing to start, nothing to stop.
• 1 step = 1 point. €1 raised on your fundraiser = 100 points.
• Every participant's steps move the challenge's collective goal forward.

IN THE APP
• My score: your steps since the challenge began, your points and the share that came from your fundraiser.
• Mission: the challenge's progress, the next goal and the total raised for the charity.
• Leaderboard: your place among the participants, and your team's against the others.
• Your fundraiser: a link to share with friends and family so they can support the cause in your name.
• Reminders to open the app and keep up with the challenge's progress.

FOR COMPANIES AND ORGANIZATIONS
Dift Move is the app for charity walking challenges run with Dift. An employee engagement programme that is simple to launch, turning a CSR commitment or a corporate giving initiative into a concrete goal every team follows day by day, and ending with a donation to the charity supported.

YOUR DATA
• Dift Move reads only your step count, through your phone's Physical activity permission. No other health data is read.
• Reading starts only once you allow it. You can withdraw that permission at any time in your phone's settings: syncing stops at once.
• Only your step count leaves your phone, to work out your score and the challenge ranking. It is never sold and never used for advertising.

Dift Move is not a medical device: the app does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition, and provides no health advice.
