Moved from BT sport and was annoyed at having to log into the platform every time I want to use the app on my Nvidia shield tv - because having an email as a username is tedious when entering on a remote control. I am informed by the support team after repeated attempts to get the information that "At discovery+, we don't have an option to stay logged in to the account" - their words not mine.

App hasn't progressed at all, it's very slow on my tablet. No option to save sports to a favourites section, no watch history to easily continue a programme. Now some of the men's cyclo cross rounds are missing under the "Latest" section. Funny how it's the men's racing that's missing. Eurosport Player and GCN+ were better. The video quality isn't even HD, in an age where YouTube offer far superior video quality.

Against my 2025 New Year's resolution, I've had to bite the bullet and fork out £30 for a month's sports coverage. I thought that the App would be better after the ridiculous hike in prices this year, but it's as bad as ever. Just a week in and I've already had to re-install the Discovery+ app on my Google TV gizmo. Browsing the sports selection is clunky, and forgets where you were last viewing on catch-up, which is a pain. A virtual monopoly doesn't mean that you should mistreat subscribers
