I'm curious to know why this app is using almost 2 gig of my data every month for no reason. I can't make phone calls or send text messages from The watch. I think this company might be taking data from our phones. 2 gig is a lot for one month for an app you barely open. it also eats 9% of my battery power per day I deactivated all its features now it uses 0%

The watch works fine, but my work the Apex Wear app just drains my phone battery like no tomorrow. I have an under year old phone, and once I downloaded the app I had to use battery saver while at work. I mainly wanted this as a cheap way to not miss text notifications while working, but the trade off of my phone battery draining so much is not worth it.

Since recent update, app draining battery like crazy. Also there seems to be a GPS issue. No longer stays connected and no more mapping. Used to love, but not so much anymore! edit on Sep 15, 2026. Can't even open the app anymore due to terms and conditions loop. Deleting and will move away from the watch I am using so I don't have to use Apex anymore.
