About this app

Turn a business card photo into a contact you have checked yourself. Dotori Business Card Scanner reads Korean and English cards on your device, then lets you review every detail before you save it.

Capture or choose a photo:

- Scan one side of one card, or select one image from your photos.
- Review suggested name, company, title, phone numbers, email, website and address against the card image.
- Phone numbers keep their labels, such as mobile, office, direct and fax.
- A contact QR code on the card is offered as a suggestion, never applied automatically.

You confirm every value:

What the app reads is a draft. Correct anything unclear and keep unfinished cards as drafts. Only cards you confirm can be sent to your contacts app or shared as a vCard.

Save to Contacts or share a vCard:

Open your contacts app with the details filled in, and finish saving there. Or share a single card as a vCard file with the app you choose. The app does not read your existing contacts.

Control image storage:

Card images are kept in the app by default. You can turn off image retention for future cards. Deleting a card removes its stored image too. Images still show everything printed on the card; they are not automatically anonymized.

Recognition runs on your device. The app has no account or developer-operated server and does not upload card images or recognized text for processing. Card storage is excluded from cloud backup.

Scanner setup and optional recognition models may need a download through Google Play services. ML Kit diagnostics, Google Mobile Ads banner advertising and privacy-choice services have separate data practices. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Recognition can make mistakes. Check the card before you save a contact.
