About this app

«DynamicG Popup Launcher» (previously called «Home Button Launcher») lets you bookmark your favorite apps, app shortcuts and web pages.

How to launch:
• On Pixel phones with gesture navigation, the app can be configured as “Digital assistant” and launched with “diagonal swipe from bottom corner”, more details see here: https://dynamicg.ch/help/098
• Alternatively, you can use the “Quick Settings” tile to open the app from your phone's notification bar.
• Or you just open the app from your home screen.
• Since One UI 7.0, Samsung uses “Power button long press” to launch the “Digital assistant”, which we think is a bad idea and makes that feature useless. Our app cannot override this behavior.

★ Partial “App shortcut” support (many apps don't allow other apps to open their shortcuts, so the list of shortcuts is limited)
★ Minimal set of permissions:
- “QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES” to access the list of installed apps.
- “INTERNET” so the app can download its icons zip file.
- on-demand “CALL_PHONE” for those users who create a "Direct dial" contact shortcut.

Ratings and reviews

when I'm driving I need to be able to open Google maps with a physical button. this app lets you replace the useless ai assistant button on your phone with a group of apps you can open, or just have it open a single app automatically which is exactly what I need.

Excellent for my use case. I removed my Google App and your app filled the gap. A quick launcher for my notes, dictionary, translator, file sync, Shazam and so on. I hope you keep it updated. Please add support for icon packs/shape and things like rounded edges, launch icon ( instead of rocket) and animation, delay, background blur, center icons/stick to left or right.

Love the app. Been using it for various use cases including that as a widget drawer by coupling with Popup widgets. Also just suggested this to HowtoMen to feature on his youtube channel. Thank you for this amazing tool. Just a small request, would you consider adding an option to remove the launch animation? Might be a personal preference but I feel it will give it a cleaner look.
