I love my hot-cool link purifier. Is the best. But I had 2 flaws. Consumes too much electrical power (my bill went to the roof, 30% increase). And is missing google home compatibility. Fix that and I'll give you 5 stars.
Update, 1 star to be noticed: Anyone else having issues with Android 8.0 and having your second decide not be able to be controlled? However still reporting in its stats so is definitely on the network? I need to check on another device to confirm it is 8.0 but since it didn't start until then I think it is the likely cause. Original, 4 stars: Setup was easy but then again I dealt with the Aria and created a guest network for it once realized what issue was. So anyway it was easy to attach. Make sure you are using 2.4 GHz network not 5, I suspect it will save you a lot of network issues. Weather doesn't work currently so I'll take one star there. Otherwise works well, just wish there was a way to turn on fan, but leave purifier off when not needed.
The app is good when I am connected to my home WiFi; however fails from any other connection. Also, very sad that it received Amazon Alexa integration but no Google Assistant / Google Home integration - this would have been great to have.
Just took my Dyson cool link out of the box to find out, MY REMOTE DOESN'T WORK! $450 FOR A FAN, the remote should st least work for a day. Very disappointed!!
I love it! The air in the room is definitly freasher. It heats the room so well. We've stopped using the wall mounted heater since the purifier heats better than it does and also doesn't dry out the air in the room like other heaters. Very expensive but worth the money since my son is asthmatic. It would be great if Dyson could design one that can be moved around easier though. I'd like to use it in different rooms at different times but it feels too fragile to move so much and too expensive to buy a second one.
I worked hours but still could not connect to my pure cool link with my Android phone. However, the iPhone version works very smooth. I am wondering if anyone else has the same problem as I do.
