About this app

Ealoom Driver is the mobile companion app for drivers whose trucking company runs operations on the Ealoom dispatch platform. Dispatchers, accountants, and managers work from the Ealoom web console at www.ealoom.com; drivers work from this app on their phone.

THIS APP IS NOT FOR PUBLIC SIGN-UP. Accounts are created by the trucking company you work with — your dispatcher will share an invite code with you.

WHAT YOU CAN DO AS A DRIVER

• See your assigned tasks (pickup, delivery, port pulls, returns) in one queue, sorted by appointment time
• Tap a task to view container details, port and warehouse addresses, appointment window, and any special instructions from the dispatcher
• Built-in handoff to Google Maps, Waze, or Apple Maps for turn-by-turn navigation
• Chat directly with your dispatcher for each task — no SMS, no phone tag
• Capture proof-of-delivery photos (BOL, container exterior, seal, port ticket) right from the task screen
• Track your earnings, completed tasks, and payment statements
• Manage your CDL, medical card, TWIC, drug-test, insurance, and EIN documents from your profile so your company always has the latest copy
• Get push notifications for new task assignments, route changes, and chat messages

• Live map of every driver who is On Duty
• Real-time task status as each move advances (assigned → picking → delivering → loaded → returning → completed)
• Auto-generated invoices, driver statements, and payment records
• Container monitoring across port terminals
• Tenant-isolated workspace: only people from your trucking company can see your data

LOCATION AND PRIVACY

Ealoom Driver collects precise GPS coordinates only while you are On Duty. Tracking runs through an Android foreground service and displays a persistent notification ("Location tracking active") for as long as it is on — Android keeps this notification visible so you always know GPS is being collected. Coordinates are sent only to your trucking company's dispatcher; they are never shared with third parties or used for advertising.

You can stop tracking instantly by switching to Off Duty, signing out, or revoking location permission in system settings. The app does not request the background-location permission.
