I was excited to try Ecolink for its packaging info, but it hasn’t worked well. When a product isn’t in the system, it just gets stuck on a loading screen with no feedback. A manual search option would help when scanning fails. So far, none of the products I’ve tried have worked. I love the concept and hope future updates improve functionality and reliability.

In as much that the app has gone through a lot of improvement, I will also suggest that the report area of the app should be designed in such a way that if one want to take a screenshot of the report, it should feat into the screen at once, not having to screenshot twice. Just a summary that be screenshot at once.

The use case of the Ecolink application was really helpful nowadays because there are a lot of carbon copies, the application could help on identifying the authenticity of the product. There are a lot of things to impove, the system needs to improve in terms of accuracy, sometimes even though the picture was clear, the concepts that the scanner provides were not accurate. It reveals different product and concept, a 90% related and a 10% false result.
