About this app

The StudentVUE mobile app helps parents and students stay informed and connected by providing day-to-day insight into the student’s academic experience. The mobile app works with Synergy® Student Information System (Synergy® SIS) in much the same way as the web portal, allowing parents and students to view student classroom assignments and scores, attendance, demographic information, and much more.


• How to find your school district and login information •


- The StudentVUE mobile app may request location permission to find school districts using Synergy® SIS. Alternatively, you can search for your school district by providing the zip code of the district office. StudentVUE lists all school districts near your location or the provided zip code.



- The StudentVUE mobile app uses the same user login as the web-based portal. If you need help, please contact your school district’s administration for user login information.



• Requirements •


- Only school districts using Synergy® SIS v2025 and higher can support the StudentVUE mobile application. Please contact your school district’s administration to verify the Synergy® SIS version.


- An internet connection is required.


- The StudentVUE mobile app uses the same user login as the web-based portal. Contact your school district’s administration if you do not have this login information.

Ratings and reviews

An ATTEMPTED improvement. It deserves two stars for the rating. They added night mode, and the new summary tab is interesting, little qol etc. However, the tutorial was half-baked, highlighting half of the region it was trying to show as a navigation guide. Some features are broken, like trying to log in for the first time, and some additions weren't necessary or don't make sense. Also, the timing of the app is very poor as some have finished the school year or are finishing it currently.

Studentvue is one of the most frustrating school platforms I have ever used. The design feels outdated, slow, and confusing even for basic tasks like checking grades or finding assignments. Pages randomly take forever to load, and sometimes the app logs you out for no clear reason. Notifications are unreliable, so students can miss assignments or messages because the system fails to update properly.

Login is more optimized, And the UI is somewhat more intuitive. It is also much faster, and doesn't seem to be just a wrap around the website like the previous app was. However, the tutorial is kind of janky, and the assignment view when looking at a course is pretty bad. The benefit of the previous app was that it accurately reflected how the desktop view seemed. This one doesn't. Edit: This also doesn't allow using a grade scroller to see how a certain grade would change your average.
