About this app

The ParentVUE mobile app helps parents stay informed and connected by providing day-to-day insight into the student’s academic experience. The mobile app works with Synergy® Student Information System (Synergy® SIS) in much the same way as the web portal, allowing parents to view student classroom assignments and scores, attendance, demographic information, and much more.
• How to find your school district and login information •
- The ParentVUE mobile app may request location permission to find school districts using Synergy® SIS. Alternatively, you can search for your school district by providing the zip code of the district office. ParentVUE lists all school districts near your location or the provided zip code.
- The ParentVUE mobile app uses the same user login as the web-based portal. If you need help, please contact your school district’s administration for user login information.
• Requirements •
- Only school districts using Synergy® SIS v2025 and higher can support the ParentVUE mobile application. Please contact your school district’s administration to verify the Synergy® SIS version.
- An internet connection is required.
- The ParentVUE mobile app uses the same user login as the web-based portal. Contact your school district’s administration if you do not have this login information.

Ratings and reviews

11 times as big as the old app and a third as useful. The app is really slow. There is no way to search. It ported in stuff from the old app (hundreds of messages over 8 years) and marked them all as unread. The only way to mark them as read is to open every single one and that doesn't always work. Sometimes you have to open them multiple times. plus deal with the wait symbol every time you scroll one screen down. Wish I could keep the old app.

Garbage design. Can't scroll past the giant message header when typing a reply, so you get ONE LINE to view your message without collapsing the keyboard. "Events" button goes to a useless view where a phantom chevron suggests there's more to view, but nothing happens on tap. Assignment descriptions aren't clear, but that may be a school thing. Definitely does not add to the experience. 👎

Somehow the new app is even worse than the old one. Links rendering strangely and in unreadable ways, logging me out every time I navigate to another app and back, and also only allowing me the option to upload images as documents, without even exposing access to regular files. I just converted a PDF to an image so that it could be converted back to a PDF on the other side. I absolutely hate this app and it makes being a parent with a child in school more frustrating than it ought to be.
