Ember Chime is a gentle hourly bell that helps you
pause, breathe, and return to the present moment — as often as
you choose.
Set your interval (5 minutes to several hours), pick a sound,
and let Chime ring quietly in the background while you live your
day. No distractions. No accounts. No internet required.

Choose from preset intervals (5m, 15m, 30m, 1h, 2h) or set a
fully custom interval down to the minute. Align chimes to the
clock (:00, :15, :30) or run them relative to when you start.

🔔 Sound Selection
Five built-in sounds (Cink, Sanctus, Ave Maria, Compline, Death
Knell) ranging from subtle to ceremonial. Or load any audio file
from your device as a custom chime.

🌙 Night Silence
Set quiet hours so Ember Chime never disturbs your sleep.
Spiritual hour notifications can also respect the silence window.

☀ Sunrise & Sunset Awareness
Enter your location (or detect it automatically) and Ember Chime
displays today's sunrise and sunset times — and uses them to
calculate daylight-aware features.

The ancient Chaldean system of seven planets, calculated fresh
each day from your local sunrise and sunset. See which planetary
hour is active right now, how long it lasts, and what it is
traditionally associated with — strength, creativity, reflection,
commerce, and more. A full 24-hour table is always available.

🌙 Lunar Calendar
Current moon phase with illumination percentage. Upcoming full
moons and new moons for the next 60 days. A unified Tradition
Calendar shows upcoming sacred days from all world traditions
in a single 60-day view — or filters to your chosen profile.

🕯 Spiritual Profiles
Activate a profile to overlay traditional prayer and observance
times onto your day — calculated from actual sunrise and sunset.
Each profile includes a liturgical calendar of upcoming feasts
and observances:

• Christian — Liturgy of the Hours (Vigils, Lauds, Prime,
Terce, Sext, None, Vespers, Compline)

• Islamic — Five daily prayer times (Fajr, Shuruk, Dhuhr,
Asr, Maghrib, Isha) calculated by your chosen method
(Muslim World League, Hanafi, Tehran, Jafari). Sunni and
Shia branches supported, with Hijri calendar and Ramadan
awareness.

• Jewish — Halachic zmanim by GRA method (Alot Hashachar,
Netz Hachama, Sof Zman Shema, Chatzot, Mincha Gedola,
Mincha Ketana, Plag HaMincha, Shkia, Tzait Hakochavim)

• Celtic — Eight tides of the day tied to solar movement,
the Wheel of the Year (eight seasonal festivals), and the
reconstructed Coligny lunisolar calendar with MAT/ANM day
quality and Atenoux half-month markers.

• Buddhist — Monastic daily rhythm (Morning Puja, Zazen,
Dana, Evening Puja). Theravāda and Zen/Mahāyāna traditions.
Lunar observance days (Vesak, Magha Puja, Asalha, Vassa).
Daily verse from the Dhammapada.

• Protestant — Morning Prayer, Midday, Evening Prayer and
Compline following the Book of Common Prayer tradition.

── REQUIREMENTS ──

Android 8.0 (Oreo) or higher. No special permissions required
beyond notification access and optional location for sunrise
calculations.
