EpiMonitor is a seizure monitor and seizure alert system designed to keep people with epilepsy safe.
The only device and app combination fully cleared by the FDA, EpiMonitor is powered by the EmbracePlus watch, the successor to the Embrace bracelet. It can monitor your epilepsy, detect possible seizures, and help maintain an accurate epilepsy diary inside the app, including sleep and activity tracking.
With EpiMonitor by Empatica, you can track seizures, share alerts with loved ones, and better understand your epilepsy.

Alert sensitivity controls

Ratings and reviews

We purchased this almost exclusively for the combination of location monitoring with seizure notification. The location services don't work and it's currently a known issue with no resolution that isn't communicated unless you report a problem. Always great to pay extra for nothing. The sensitivity is so high it'll go off on normal tasks like brushing my teeth or hair then randomly stay disconnected all day because it doesn't like the strength of the service connection even on wifi.

horrible support. watch disconnects then won't pair again. emailed for support and it took over a week for a reply with generic troubleshooting not even related to the issues. The watch will not go into pairing mode... however, they want to see a bunch of evidence about my personal device in order to troubleshoot. it is a hardware issue if it will not go into an image showing hi or Bluetooth with an option to select okay. ps I work in cyber security and the whole product is trash.

The device itself didn't detect any of my seizures. They are caused by a glioblastoma, not epilepsy, so I am actually MOST ok about this. But man. Their technical support is horrible, they also didn't mention the return policy, even when it was clear the device wasn't going to work. I lucked on it while re-reading the terms. It took multiple calls or emails to get them to respond, they missed questions I already answered until I made a new screenshot and CIRCLED part. Will never recommend.
