About this app

Switchify helps people with limited mobility control their Android device using switches, face gestures, head movement and on-screen scanning. Choose the input method and scanning style that work for you, or combine them.

Use adaptive switches, Bluetooth buttons, keyboard inputs or your device’s camera. Smiles, blinks, winks, puckers and head movements can act as switches.

Move around the screen with item, point or radar scanning. Set scanning to run automatically, advance with a switch, or respond to directional input. Adjust the speed and highlight colours to make selections easier to follow.

Open the Switchify menu to tap, long press, drag, swipe, pinch and scroll. You can also use Home, Back, Recents, Notifications and Quick Settings, control volume, scan the on-screen keyboard, launch favourite apps, and save custom gestures to replay later.

Options such as gesture lock, repeat actions and pause mode help you adapt Switchify to your routine.

Camera gesture recognition runs on your device. Switchify uses Android’s Accessibility Service API to control the device. Diagnostics are optional and require your consent.
