EstimateBook is a voice-first estimate maker for contractors. Describe the job by voice, text or photo and get a priced, itemized job estimate you can send as a professional PDF quote before you leave the driveway.

Built for plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians, landscapers, painters, roofers and general contractors who write estimates and quotes on the job site, not at a desk. Whether you are a handyman quoting a repair or a contractor pricing a renovation, the estimate is ready before the competition sends theirs.

HOW IT WORKS

Hold the button and talk. "Replace fifty gallon gas water heater, haul the old one, new expansion tank, half day." That is enough. This estimate maker builds line items, quantities, prices, labour and materials split out, and a total.

Everything in the estimate is editable. Change a price, change a quantity, add a line, drop a line, move the markup. It is your quote, not a locked document.

When the estimate looks right, share the PDF the same way you share anything else on your phone. Text it, email it, WhatsApp it. A fast estimate means your bid or proposal reaches the customer first.

TAX DONE PROPERLY

Most estimate apps apply one tax rate to everything. That is wrong in most of Canada and wrong in a lot of the United States.

EstimateBook knows that British Columbia charges GST on the whole job but PST on materials only. It knows Ontario is HST, Alberta is GST alone, Quebec adds QST. It carries every Canadian province, and all fifty US states plus the District of Columbia, with the right state sales tax on every quote.

Pick your region once in settings. The tax split is correct on the screen and correct on the PDF estimate.

BUILT FOR THE JOB SITE

Voice first, because your hands are dirty and you are outside. Attach a photo when a picture explains the job faster than words do.

Your licence number appears in the estimate header, the way a customer expects to see it, the way it is required for plumbing and electrical work in British Columbia.

Set your company name, hourly rate and default trade once. Every estimate and quote picks them up. Pro adds your own logo to every PDF.

Your estimates live on your phone with full history, search and monthly stats. There is no customer database to maintain and no dashboard to log into. Export your data any time.

WHAT IT DOES NOT DO

No invoicing yet. No payment collection yet. No scheduling, no dispatching, no CRM. EstimateBook writes estimates, quotes and bids, and it writes them properly. Invoicing is next.

FREE TO TRY

Three estimates a year at no cost, so you can decide with real jobs instead of a demo. Estimates you make on the free tier carry a small EstimateBook line in the footer.

Pro removes the limit and the footer line, and adds your own logo to every estimate.

Pro Monthly is 24.99 USD per month. Pro Annual is billed once a year and works out cheaper per month. Prices shown in the app are in your own currency, set by Google Play.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Manage or cancel in your Google Play account settings.
