The symptoms of being unable to connect to the car display via WiFi are most likely due to lack of app permissions, at least for Android. Open Settings, Apps, and allow EveLink to access nearby devices. Once I did this, the update installed flawlessly, and it has been working for the two days since applied. It would have failed every few minutes prior to the update.

Solved the crashing issue I was dealing with on Android 16, Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Irritated I had to "get" the solution rather than it being sorted via an OTA update, but it's resolved. Wish I would've knew about it sooner via a message or something as it's driven me insane since February. Screen mirroring is pointless and low quality. Wouldn't recommend using the app other than for the fix.

Was asked to install this app to fix the constant disconnection issue that's come up on my aftermarket Android auto unit since Google broke it back in March. Followed the instructions to install the patch and now I have a functioning screen again. Really pleased!
