This app uses the VPNService to block known porn and malware sites, and to activate Safe Search in popular search engines. It does this by routing DNS requests through a filtering service (see cleanbrowsing.com). It does not actually create a VPN tunnel.

This app uses the Accessibility Services permission to automatically capture screenshots and scan them for pornography. The screenshots are scanned by AI and never leave your device. We also use the accessibility permission to ensure the blocker is not bypassed or disabled.

This app uses the Device Administrator permission while the blocking feature is in use. This helps us ensure the filter is not bypassed or disabled. We don't use it for anything else.

Ratings and reviews

This is a fantastic app, but I hope it continues to get better. It is almost perfect. For a paid app, there are two things that I'd like to see change. Very often it will block what I'm watching on YouTube declaring it is inappropriate content when there's nothing wrong with it. I would still prefer this over not being protecting enough. I also wish this app was able to block specific websites or key words in web adresses, similar to how it blocks apps. Still great though!

Awesome app. I love being kept safe. It does cost money but if you have financial hardship you can apply for a scholarship. Awesome support great design. My only suggestion would be being able to set what happens when something is detected. (ie go back, close the app, block the app for 15 minutes, send a text to a friend...etc) Totally fine without it just would be 6 stars with it 😆👍

This app was the biggest help in my struggle to fight addiction. Now, I know my weak willpower is to blame for this, but after a recent system update, the app can now be deleted simply by hitting uninstall, which will promt you to deactivate admin perms at the click of a button, and the app doesn't even stop you. Accessibility perms are granted (and those can be turned off easily as well), I've tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling, but unfortunately nothing has fixed this.
