About this app

Send money into, out of and across Africa, get paid like a local, and spend globally, all from one app. Eversend is the cross-border money account: a multicurrency money app built for Africans and the diaspora, with over 1.6 million registered users and over $1 billion moved.

Send money at real exchange rates with the fee shown before you confirm, hold 16 currencies plus USDC and USDT, and pay online with a virtual dollar card. Whether you're sending to family, getting paid for international work, or shopping globally, Eversend makes money across borders simple and affordable.

šŸ’ø Send Money in Every Direction
Sending home is one direction. Eversend runs all three: into Africa from the UK, US and Europe; out of Africa, from naira, shillings or cedis to USD, GBP and EUR bank accounts; and between African countries, on routes like Kenya to Nigeria and Ghana to Nigeria that most services skip. Send to bank accounts and mobile money in 18 countries. Mobile money payouts land in about a minute, measured over our last 90 days of transfers, and the rate and fee are shown before you send, so the amount on your screen is the amount that arrives.

Popular routes on Eversend: send money to Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, Ghana, Rwanda, Tanzania, Zambia and Cameroon; send money from Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda and Ghana to the US, UK and Europe; and money transfers between African countries, like Kenya to Nigeria. One money transfer app for every direction your money moves.

šŸ’³ Virtual Dollar Cards for Global Spending
Create a virtual USD card in seconds and shop online anywhere: subscriptions, ads, travel, marketplaces. Cards start at $0.99, every fee is published upfront, and you can fund them from any currency or stablecoin at the rate on your screen. Freeze and unfreeze instantly from the app.

šŸ¦ Your Own USD, EUR & GBP Accounts
Get paid like a local with personal USD, EUR and GBP account details. Clients and platforms pay you by normal domestic transfer, and one clear fee is shown before the money moves: perfect for freelancers, remote workers and businesses. Funds land in your Eversend wallet, and you convert to your currency when you choose.

šŸ’± Hold 16 Currencies & Stablecoins
Hold and exchange 16 currencies plus USDC and USDT in one place. Receive stablecoins and convert to local currency in minutes, or use them to fund your card. Every conversion happens at a rate you see and accept first.

šŸ”’ Licensed, Secure, and Trusted
Eversend is licensed by the Bank of Uganda, registered with FinCEN (US) and FINTRAC (Canada), with central-bank remittance approvals in Kenya and Zambia. Customer funds are safeguarded and segregated. Digital assets are secured by Fireblocks. Every transaction is protected with two-factor authentication, and cards can be frozen instantly.

I had to add a star before I could comment, so kudos. You have one. How many times do I have to go through the verification process?! And why can't I pull up the menu on your search bar in the help section when everything I enter is invalid? I sent a message pleading for help and have not heard back from you. And I thought the setup process on all the other money transfer apps wan excruciating, but yours takes the cake! Most of your 1-star customers are voicing the same complaints. Fix it.

App is too slow. Rubbish app. Customer support is very poor and unresponsive. I exchanged my naira to dollars so I can create the virtual dollar card, the exchange was successful but the value didn't reflect. I withdrew my balance because I can't continue. I don't know where my money disappeared to. The app is scam. And if your card failed on a transaction, the value will be debited but your money will never be reversed, even when the merchant has started that the money reversed, it wont appear

I've had multiple transaction delays with Eversend. Most recently, my MTN Mobile Money account was debited for a second deposit, but the app marked the transaction as 'Failed'. This isn't the first time when creating my virtual card, I was also debited and had to wait about 24 hours before it was resolved. What's even more frustrating is that the Help/Support section in the app doesn't even open, making it difficult to report issues or get assistance. The app has potential, but the transaction.
