About this app

The EyeMed app gives you the ability to:
- View your benefits and eligibility.
- Find an in-network eye doctor based on your favorite criteria including online scheduling, hours, products, brands, and services.
- Schedule an eye exam and add to your calendar. Get driving directions, request a ride share, or transportation assistance to your appointment.
- Get special offers in a snap and save them to Google Wallet.
- Estimate the costs for an eye exam, glasses, contacts and more for your plan.
- Check your claims.
- Get your ID card with a quick shake.
- Set reminders to get an eye exam.
- Set reminders to change your contact lenses/
- Securely store an image of your prescription.
- View interactive tips and vision guides.
- All of your personal information is secure and only viewable by you.

Ratings and reviews

no longer has most functionality. can't use to find doctors. when you try to use the cost estimate it just logs you out. the only function that still works is showing you insurance card info. when trying to enter information it only gives a number pad instead of a keyboard. there's no way to enter a name. lots of error messages and can't find information notes.

This app has a long way to go. It certainly wasn't ready for deployment to the production system. Can't login, can't reset password, if you press the back button in the app, it doesn't clear the password originally put in....bad security planning. Either prioritize a functioning, secure app or don't have one at all. What it currently is should be an embarrassment.

Bugs and poor integration. Registration page defaults to a number entry pad for Member ID, but the data requires entering letters. Contact Us call says a chat agent is available, but the link is never received.
