• Customer to choose Fonepay on the enabled Bank apps
• Customer to scan the QR code on the app
• Customer to confirm the payment
• Customer and Merchant gets an Instant Payment notification on successful transaction
How to Register as a Merchant on FonePay?
The merchant onboarding process consists of sourcing, screening, set-up and activation of merchants. This process is carried out exclusively by acquirer banks and can independently approve or reject merchant applications based on the information provided and the compliance documents. Once approved, acquirer banks are solely responsible for the transactions accepted by their merchants.
Merchant Registration Process:
• Download Fonepay application
• Click on “Register as Merchant”
• Fill up “Know Your Merchant” form
*Note: It is requested for Merchant to provide valid Email address and Mobile Number, since the login credentials of the Fonepay Merchant App shall be provided on the specified address upon approval.
