Update: WHERE IS FINGER PRINT SUPPORT? This app is well done. It's modern, fluid, and comprehensive. Ultimately, I'd like to see finger print recognition available. Considering how awful the other brokerage apps are, and the new 4.95 trading cost, I'm sure Fidelity will be gaining more and more market share.
Great visual and content! It's the navigation...On a Note 4 running Marshmallow, scrolling up and down the watchlist or position screens still confuses up/down with sideways. Instant balance works better but still fails about 10% of the time. App should allow horizontal swipes from say Balances screen, to Positions and so on - It doesn't!
Keeps asking me to login just to see my account status which should be without needing to provide a password. I see the Oops message every day. Fidelity should stay up to par with the rest to add fingerprint. Very disappointed!
Update: FIN-GER-PRINT AU-THEN-TI-CA-TION, PLEASE... This is ridiculous. The tagline "put the World of Finance at your Fingertips" is real choice considering you can't even seem to ADD FINGERPRINT AUTHENTICATION to this app! Your users need to be able to access your app more easily. It blows my mind that you have almost exact feature parity for iOS except for one of the most crucial elements for app development.
It's ok, it's a Fido app. It will never be top notch, and the April 4-2017 update made charts not available. An uninstall and reinstall fixed problem, but this company is notorious for implementing w/o adequate testing. This was just more proof of that. The more things change the more they stay the same.
Great improvements, but a few features would be nice. Fingerprint access to my accounts would be nice since keying a password every few minutes is time consuming. Push notifications of deposits would be useful, and Fidelity in general needs to have some way to declare upcoming travel plans without having to call customer service. Even better than having a travel entry form in the app would be allowing the option to use GPS to dynamically allow transactions in a radius of my immediate location. ***April 2017 edit: I do appreciate that they have added an account summary to the top of the feed. This reduces the time spent keying passwords.
