It's great in concept but having major frame rate issues testing resolutions in all the available frame rates. Can rarely get a 24 fps record even in 1080. Also app crashes with the osmo mobile constantly. I've unfortunately had better results from the dji go app. I'd love a fix because 9.99 for a dud sort of sucks. I'm on a Pixel XL.
Great interface and lots of options when tweaking previously recording video. I really wish there was a photography app that used this interface. Unfortunately there are quite a bit of bugs and other issues holding it back from being great. The app will not recognize an external Mic if you're using a headphone splitter. Your settings revert to default if you close the app or review footage, and manual focus and ISO don't always work right. Would be nice if we could get the iOS features too. Wouldn't say it's totally worth the $9.99 I paid for, at least not with how the app is right now, but would definitely recommend if it's on sale.
When I bought this app every thing worked now no slow motion no 4k .the manual focus will not go to infinity on s8+ can not focus on screen using dof adapter every other app will? What's going on are you going to fix this app will the new version work properly on s8+ I guess you at least fixed auto focus. I would like to beta test the new app if possible. At least get this to work on flagship phones !
There is no 4k resolution, better to use dji app it self if you have osmo they offer much better than this app, it just sucks that i payed for nothing i never used it since i bought it, it just sucks so bad That they focus so much on iOS but not on android. So bias. Where is the love for android people? We pay money too you know?
Very disappointed. User interface is great but app has problems in keeping the frame rate at 24fps even in HD, on a Samsung S7 exposure is getting stuck on a high iso, auto focus sometimes as well, there is no option to choose the recording folder. Quite annoying for a £10 app, I guess developer is focused on the IOS app which is unfair towards paying android customers. If everything worked well this would be a great app.
This app sucks. Does not support 4k, cannot focus properly, has overlayed text on its UI, produces jerky results. If you are using a DJI Osmo definitely stay away from this app. The DJI native App is much much better. I am using a Samsung S6. The app has potential but sloppy programming and many bugs just literally kill it. I feel ripped off.
* Solved AF issue on Samsung S8/S8+.
* FiLMiC now auto-connects to previously connected OSMO Mobile.
* Minor bug fixing.
Frame and prep your film, music video, or photo shoot with professional cameras.
