About this app

Use the ECG app to check your heart for signs of atrial fibrillation, an irregular heart rhythm. You can create a PDF of your results to share with a healthcare provider.

To take your first reading, follow these steps:
1. In the Play Store app on your Pixel Watch, search for the Google ECG app.
2. Tap the Google ECG app and tap Install.
3. Open the ECG tile on your watch. If you haven't set up the Google Health app on your phone, you're prompted to do so. Follow the instructions to install and log in to the app on your phone.
4. Reopen the ECG tile to take a measurement.

The Google ECG app is available on the Wear OS platform for Pixel Watch in select countries. It is not intended for use by people under 22 years old.

Worked great before. Now, this month, maybe after a recent update?, it doesn't work anymore. When I try to activate it, it says "To get started, open the fitbit mobile app. I press the icon to open the app on the phone. The phone goes to an informational page on Heart Rhythm Assessment. After closing the page, I'm in the fitbit app on the phone, but the ecg still doesn't work. FIX THIS ASAP!!

Absolute garbage. Neither on the Pixel Watch 2 or 4 could I ever get the timer to reach 0s, no matter how still as a rock I become. False advertising.

How about this watch in September to monitor afib. every time I attempt to take my ECG and place my finger on the crown like it says to it does not read that my finger is on the crown it is very frustrating especially in a time when you're trying to detect if you are in afib or not. I am not happy with the Fitbit Google ECG reader so far
