Entering a subway sandwich to the food log burns 34 calories per minute. I feel like there should be a smoother process for entering food that isnt packaged. I prepare a lot of my own food and eat at "build your own entree" type restaurants. It takes soooooo long to put all of the ingredients in. Plus a lot of the options to choose from are duplicated so many times that there are too many options for one food type. Update is definitely required for the food log.
Starts off great/then start to refine diet Ads keep getting bigger.A lot of foods only have total calories. No good if ur tracking fat or protein or carbs. Many foods have "serving" size rather than oz or tbsp, then if u eat a different brand cant convert measurement. Look up "butter, salted"WAY off in numbers. Im not upgrading for skewed data base.
Great tool I love the Barcode scan feature. There is a large data base of food that includes grocery brands and restaurant foods. You can even make your own recipes. I haven't tried taking a picture of my food but if that works well, it couldn't get much simpler. When you log a food it goes into your 'My Foods' data base so you can find it easily. There is a fair amount of work when you are starting out but once you get a lot of your regular foods logged, it gets easier. I think logging is the secret to losing weight
Using for free. I have lost within 3 weeks 1 kg, without any starving at all. This app made me belive in calorie counting! And it helped me to realise how much nutrients do I consump daily, what was a surprise... Only minis is that you cant change the nutrients if they are there, even if they are not written at all or wrong
Love this app! Especially the ability to scan food items, for easy entry. It's super user friendly and great motivation for tracking and losing weight. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't track water (free version), but you can still enter it in as a food item and track it that way.
Easy to use interface, but not as robust or accurate as MyFitnessPal. Often scanned items do not pull up the correct info, so be aware of that. And lately nutritional ℅ not calculating properly... Hopefully that's a temporary glitch that they are working on. All in all, it's a great way to keep track, just need to improve their food database to include more items and make sure the bar code scans are pulling correct info.
