Great tool If you follow calorie recommendations, you will lose weight. I've lost a lot of weight in the last year. I especially love the patterns that this app shows you, like "you tend to consume fewer calories on days you eat sausage" or "if every day/week was like this day/week, you will reach your goal by 1/15/16." Very motivating!
Good but needs work I like it, especially being able to connect to my Pebble smartwatch via Google Fit and PlexFit. The main issue I'm having is that the food search rarely works and painfully slow. Fix that and I'll update my review. 07/22/15… the recipe creation screen stopped working in the past few days. Was working last week.
Great app for keeping yourself or friends accountable. I'd really like to see a change in the way you denote exercise though. Having to measure discreet, countable exercises in minutes is really frustrating (5 minutes of pushups? Who measures pushups by the minute?). It would be great to see a numbering system rather than a time based system. It just makes so much more sense to say "30 pushups" than having to think "hmm. 30 pushups took me a minute, so how many would I have to do to get to 5 mins?"
Great app It's good and easy to use. I really wish it linked to a "nutritional info by ingredient" sort of thing, but I don't mind taking the extra step to look it up on my browser first. Usually. Also, the exercise options could be better.
I love how this app gives me one place for all my weight loss info. It's so easy to keep track of food just scan the Barcode. I can even add recipes for cooking at home.
Helpful weight loss tool Food journaling is key component to weight loss success - especially keeping the weight off. I decided to try Lose It after my son used it successfully and told me about it. If you use it faithfully, you will lose weight. It's easy to use and doesn't require much of a daily time commitment. I use the free app and find it perfect for my needs. I don't foresee upgrading to the premium version.
Fixed a bug with the Google Fit integration where steps weren't properly importing
