Dual SIM phone SMS sending problem When using dual SIM phone. It will send by default to SIM 1. After changing the phone settings to send SIM 2 . This app still send messages via default sim (SIM1)
Simply brilliant I've been using MyPhoneExplorer since my old Sony mobile days (pre-Android) and was delighted when they shifted it to Android. It's just got better and better since then. What's astonishing is that's it's totally free, although I'd suggest you always make a donation for the developers ongoing hard work. There's simply nothing out there even close to being as good as this. The only thing it doesn't fully support yet is dual-sim recognition, something I'm sure they're working on. Keep up the good work!
Handling 2 mobile accounts Have a business, and personal mobile. Wanted to sync each separately, and NOT on the cloud. This app. successfully let's me to do this! The Bluetooth sync doesn't require a battle to sync. Have to figure out settings though,or Explorer won't capture the complete data off your device. Initially skeptical given Kies is STILL unable to sync notes for example.
Great for syncing with Outlook Great app, robust, reliable and clever. Has all options that I need to sync my phone with Outlook, including choosing Outlook profile and phone contact account. What is great is ability to view the changes prior to syncing and override, or change, what you need to by synced. Another problem that was forever looming with other syncing apps I have tried over the years was duplicates that a syncing app would inevitably introduce, sooner or later; never had it with this wonderfull app (touch wood :)
I found this great app back in January after MySMS decided to charge a silly monthly subscription for their SMS via PC app and failed to fix a number of key flaws. It worked much better than MySMS and offered a whole bunch of other useful features besides, so I immediately gave it a rave review and made a donation. Sadly, I've since encountered repeated connection issues and have tried exhaustively to contact the developer to get some help (sent six emails over a three month period - not one reply). This isn't on. A developer isn't obliged to offer support, but why publish a support address on Google Play if you're not going to reply? If the user is prepared to take the time to document and report issues, it's not unreasonable to expect a response - even if it's just to acknowledge the issue. This is a tragedy as the app's a true gem, but like Jeyo's Mobile Extender and Mobile Companion, it seems that this kind of app is destined to become 'abandonware' for no obvious reason. Devs need paying and I fully support the donation model, but I wish I'd known about the lack of support before I donated, gave the app 5 stars and wasted time sending emails to the support address.
Works great and is quick over wifi. Setup for Outlook can be tricky so if it doesn't work as expected, tinker with the settings. No longer seems to download toolbars or other unwanted apps. Overall a great app. I was glad to donate a significant amount to keep this going.
This version is needed for MyPhoneExplorer 1.8.7 which has the following changes:
- Bluetooth-connection rewritten
- for phones with Android 5 (Lollipop) and newer: Screen-Mirroring from phone to PC, now also throught WiFi
- compatibility with Windows 10 and Outlook 2016
- contact pictures are synced now in full resolution
- photo-sync: syncs only new photos from the device, this makes the sync much faster
- Desktop-notifications can be customized better
- many minor changes and bugfixes
